Consider the past year:
• Two prestigious industry surveys named RE/MAX the No. 1 real estate franchise and one of the Top 10 franchises overall.
• Agent productivity was sky high, with our U.S. agents doubling the competition in the industry’s two premier big broker rankings.
• We grew significantly, topping the 110,000-agent mark last fall. Adding agents means more listings, more sales, more yard signs, more advertising and more competitive advantages for us all.
• The redesigned, enhanced remax.com continued to be the most-visited real estate franchise website, drawing 77 million visits – nearly double the next competitor. That helped LeadStreet deliver a million free leads to RE/MAX agents. Traffic grew on office and agent sites, and over 730 team sites were built – with another 150 in development.
• The new national ad campaign (“The Sign of a RE/MAX Agent”) was a major success.
• Our luxury and commercial brands expanded significantly.
• Our global footprint grew, into a presence in over 100 countries and territories.
We have a lot of competitors, some very large and some small, but based on residential transaction sides, nobody in the world sells more real estate than RE/MAX. Nobody. Period.
